Chinese-like poem...

In resplendent garb eclipsing the sun
came illusions prancing around
Earth is turning East in its dance.
Duly the sun exposed illusions'tricky plans.

freely the bees feast
on pink crepe myrtle blossoms
in the summer heat.

mind you, in one's head
the past, present and future
often exchange seats
***


without much ado
the body and old habits
tend to trump intent.
***

mechanically
giving aid to those in need
leaves the giver bare.
***

when others are harmed
by way of retribution
justice is ill served
.
***
