- a shimmering darkness
mirrored on the ocean floor;

a smoke silencing the cries
of debris burning;

a mirage leading a shadow
in the forest of desires...

can you feel the earth move?
such is prayer - that profound
asking responding
to profound needs.

compassion, like
true kindness
glow brightest
in the dark

dust, too tends
to settle on
mountain tops.

stillness
unemploys words

bye and bye
in scorching heat
a soft breeze soothes
a petal's burning cheek.

Who am I...?

One who rebels against
All types of subjugation;

One who with every breath refutes
Death's fear-mongering;

One who in joy and sorrow
Believes in Life, everlasting.
